Orizn Visa Check for apaleo: onboarding guide
How to connect, use and disconnect Orizn Visa Check, the apaleo app that shows each guest's entry requirement in an Orizn tab of the reservation.
Overview
Orizn Visa Check adds an “Orizn” tab to every reservation in apaleo. The tab shows the entry requirement of the primary guest for the country of the property: visa-free (with the number of days allowed), e-visa, ETA, visa on arrival, visa required or entry not permitted. When Orizn has them, the result also shows its official source and the date it was last verified.
New reservations are checked automatically when apaleo creates them. Reservations that existed before you connected the app are checked the first time someone opens their Orizn tab.
Data shared with Orizn
- The nationality country code of the primary guest.
- The country of the property.
- The reservation id, to show the result on the right reservation.
Nothing else. The app is registered in apaleo so that linked personal data (name, email address, documents) is not sent to it. Orizn stores only country codes and the result per reservation id.
The app never writes to the reservation. The only things it creates in your account are the Orizn tab and one webhook subscription to new reservations. Connecting the app again does not add a second subscription or a second tab.
Prerequisites
- An apaleo account, and a user allowed to connect apps to it.
- Guest nationality recorded on the primary guest of the reservation. Without it, the tab asks you to add it.
How to connect
- In the apaleo Store, open Orizn Visa Check and click Connect.
- Sign in to apaleo if asked, review the permissions and approve them.
- The app subscribes to new reservations and installs the Orizn tab. That is the whole setup.
- apaleo then sends you back to a confirmation page that names your apaleo account, tells you to open any reservation and select the Orizn tab, and shows the date your free trial ends.
Configuration
None. There are no settings, no mapping and no data import.
Daily use
- Open a reservation and select the Orizn tab.
- Nationality missing: add it to the primary guest in apaleo, then reopen the tab.
- If the nationality changes after a result is shown, the result is not recalculated.
- The tab labels follow your apaleo language in English, German or French; any other language shows English.
Trial and pricing
The first 30 days after you connect your apaleo account are free. After that, the price is $290 per property per year, or $29 per property per month.
During the trial, the Orizn tab shows how many days are left. From seven days before the trial ends, it also shows two payment links, annual first: $290 per property / year (or $29 per property / month). Nothing is blocked when the trial ends.
Once your payment is recorded, the account is marked as paid and the tab no longer shows the trial banner.
How to disconnect
- Contact [email protected] before disconnecting: we remove the webhook subscriptions and the tab, and delete the stored results for your account. Daily backups of this data are kept for 14 days.
- Then disconnect Orizn Visa Check in apaleo.
We keep only your account code and the date it was first connected, so that a reconnection does not start a new trial.
If apaleo refuses to renew the app's access, for example because the app was disconnected in apaleo, Orizn marks your account as disconnected, stops using its access and no longer checks new reservations. Connecting the app again from the apaleo Store restores it.

FAQ
Does the app change my reservations?
No. It reads the reservation and the property, and shows the result in its own tab.
Which reservations are checked?
Every new reservation as it is created, and any older reservation the first time its Orizn tab is opened.
What if a route is not covered?
The tab says so and points you to the destination's official immigration website.
Is the result a legal guarantee?
No. Requirements can change: confirm with the official source shown in the tab before travel.
