Orizn Visa Check for Hospitable
Early access: Orizn checks each of your Hospitable reservations against the entry rules from the guest's country to the country of the listing, with the date each rule was last verified.
How early access works
1. Ask for early access
Write to us and tell us about your listings. Early access opens host by host.
2. Create a Personal Access Token
Hospitable lets every host create a Personal Access Token from within the app, to read their own data through the Hospitable Public API. Do not paste the token in your email: we agree with you on how to hand it over.
3. We turn the check on
We connect the token to your account and the visa check runs on your reservations.
A one-click install from the Hospitable Apps marketplace needs Hospitable vendor approval, which we have applied for. Until then, early access uses your own token.
What it does
On every reservation, the check takes the guest's country and the country of the listing, queries the Orizn API and returns the entry requirement for that trip. Hospitable has no nationality field, so the guest's country is the one in the guest's location, which is not always the passport they travel on. The result is one of:
- Visa-free, with the number of days allowed
- E-visa
- Electronic travel authorisation (ETA)
- Visa on arrival
- Visa required
- Entry not permitted
Each result carries the date it was last verified and, when we have it, a link to the official source.
Already in production on apaleo
The same engine already runs for hotels on apaleo, where it shows the entry requirement in a tab of each reservation: Orizn Visa Check for apaleo.
Planned pricing
The planned price is the same as the apaleo app: 290 USD per property per year, or 29 USD per property per month.
Coverage
199 passports and 250 destinations.
